Bolingbrook police reports, Jan. 5-12

Wednesday, Jan. 12

Burglary

A hammer drill, saw, sawzall, grinder, volt drill, welder, band saw, radio, cordless drill and a tool box with hand tools inside of it were taken from a car in a parking lot on the 200 block of Remington Boulevard. The loss valued at $5,300.

Guadalupe Calderon, 21, of the 3000 block of 83rd Street in Woodridge, was charged with driving on a suspended license and an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop on the 300 block of South Schmidt Road.

Darryl Mitchell, 25, of the 200 block of Beaconridge Drive, was charged with battery after officers responded to a call on the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive.

Monday, Jan. 10

Burglary

An Xbox and games were taken from a home on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive.

Graffiti

A fence was spray-painted with graffiti on the 500 block of Miner Drive.

Stolen Car

A running 1992 Gold Buick LaSabre was taken from outside of a home on the 100 block of Wethersfield Lane.

Stolen Gas

About 150 gallons of gasoline were taken from a trailer parked on the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive.

Outstanding Warrant

Kevin Engebretson, 48, of the 200 block of Brook Court, was charged with outstanding warrant following a call to the 200 block of Brook Court.

Obstruction of Justice

Ivan Gomez, 25, was charged with obstructing justice and driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop on the 400 block of North Bolingbrook Drive.

Sunday, Jan. 9

Stolen Gas

About 300 gallons of gasoline were reported stolen from a business on the 500 block of Territorial Drive.

DUI

Juan Martinez, 34, of the 200 block of East Briarcliff Road, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard.

Stolen Car

A red 2005 Chrysler Town & Country, money and credit cards were taken from a home on the 100 block of Thackeray Drive.

Saturday, Jan. 8

Stolen Car

A 1999 red Jeep Cherokee was taken from the parking lot on the 600 block of Preston Drive. The car was left unlocked and running, police say.

Resisting a Peace Officer

Timothy Vana, 49, of the 3000 West Fullerton Boulevard in Chicago, was charged with resisting a peace officer and littering on the 400 block of North Bolingbrook Drive.

Friday, Jan. 7

Battery

Terrell Jackson, 30, of the 500 block of Preston Drive, was charged with battery.

Thursday, Jan. 6

Retail Theft

  • Catalina Carrisales, 20, of the 500 block of King Arthur Way, was charged with retail theft at .
  • Deshun Echols, 20, of the 3000 block of West Pope Avenue, was charged with fraud and retail theft at .
  • Peter Johnske, 24, of the 1000 block of Bothwell Lane, was charged with two counts of retail theft at the at 225 N. Weber Rd.
Wednesday, Jan. 5

Outstanding Warrant

Courtney Burges, 23, of the 200 block of South Lotus Avenue in Chicago, was charged with an outstanding warrant and driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop at the intersection of interstates 55 and 355.
