Wednesday, April 6

Kids throwing rocks at house

Officers were called to a home on the 300 block of Walnut Circle for the report of criminal damage to property, police said. According to the report, the homeowner said several juveniles threw rocks at the house, breaking the rear glass door. Damage was valued at $500.

Purse stolen from shopping cart

Officers responded to Food 4 Less for the report of a theft. The victim said her purse and cell phone were taken from her shopping cart, police said.

Domestic battery

Michael Davis, 20, of the 100 block of Pilgrim Court, was charged with domestic battery, police said.

Ryan Chapman, 33, of the 400 block of Cambridge Way, was charged with domestic battery, police said.

Jose Cruz-Willarreal, 26, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, was charged with domestic battery, police said.

Warrant

Joseph Hill, 42, of the 700 block of North Pinecrest Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant, driving on a suspended license and speeding, police said.

Tuesday, April 5

Warrant

James Brantley, 22, of the 2000 block of Prentis Drive in Downers Grove, was charged with an in-state warrant, police said.

James Nelson, 22, of the 500 block of Fessler Avenue in Naperville, was charged with an in-state warrant, police said.

Retail theft

Trisicia Jenkins, 18, of the 100 block of Somerset Lane, was charged with retail theft at Meijer, located at 755 E. Boughton Road, police said.

Robbery

Officers were called to the 300 block of Blackfoot Drive for the report of a robbery. One of the victims said they were walking along Lily Cache Lane and Blackfoot Drive when they were grabbed, knocked to the ground and were punched several times. Police say a cell phone was taken.

April 4

Unlawful use of a weapon

A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with unlawful use of a weapon following a call to the 600 block of Preston Drive, police said.

Burglary results in broken window, damaged blinds

Officers were called to the 600 block of Hampshire Lane for the report of a residential burglary. The homeowner said they found a shattered window and damaged blinds, but nothing appeared to be missing, police said. Damage was valued at $200.

Brick thrown through window

Officers responded to the 600 block of Keystone Drive for the report of a residential burglary. The homeowner said they found a brick thrown through a window. Police say a laptop and class ring were taken. Loss was valued at $1,000.

Resisting a peace officer after littering

Anthony Nelson, 37, of the 900 block of West Briarcliff Road, was charged with littering and resisting a peace officer following a traffic stop on the 400 block of West Boughton Road, police said.

Stolen refrigerator

Officers were called to the 200 block of Stonegate Road for the report of a residential burglary. A witness said the front door knob had been damaged to gain entry and a refrigerator and cabinet doors were taken, police said.

Warrant

George Cant, 28, of the first block of Rye Court, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Janes Avenue and Cambridge Way, police said.

April 3

Damaged car windows

Police said several windows were damaged to a car parked on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

Fight with metal and wooden poles

Officers responded to a business on the 100 block of North Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a fight in progress with metal and wooden poles. Daniel Velez, 21, of the 100 block of Seabury, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and obstructing justice and a 16-year-old juvenile was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, police said.

Battery

Lonell Turner, 44, of the 500 block of Barclay Drive, was charged with battery and Paris Israel, 23, of the 14000 block of Ashland Avenue in Harvey, was charged with battery and criminal trespass to property, police said.

Obstructing justice

Omar Perez, 20, of the 100 block of Whitehill Avenue in Romeoville, was charged with obstructing justice, police said.

Illegal possession and transportation of alcohol

A juvenile and Elisco Hernandez, 18, of the 500 block of Preston Drive, were both charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, police said.

Unlawful possession of alcohol, gun

Omar Tapia, 19, of the 100 block of Jamestown Drive, was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and unlawful possession of a firearm, police said.

April 2

Criminal damage to property

Kiari Giles, 18, of the 100 block of Jamestown Drive, was charged with criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer after a report of reckless driving in a parking lot, police said.

Stolen purse

Police say a purse was stolen from a car parked on the 200 block of Lindsey Lane after a window was broken.

Stolen hardware

A door lock was punched on a car parked on the 200 block of North Bolingbrook Drive, police said. A drill, grinder and wrench were taken.

Aggravated battery, resisting a peace officer

Dawn Hogue, 30, of the 300 block of Oak Street in Joliet, was charged with aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer, police said.

Fight

Officers responded to the 400 block of West Boughton for the report of a fight. Jose Perez, 27, of the 100 block of Jamestown Drive, and Omar Alfaro, 31, of the 100 block of Greentree Court, were both charged with battery, police said.

April 1

Retail theft

A juvenile and Antwon Rainey, 18, of the 100 block of Christine Way, were charged with retail theft at Meijer, at 225 N. Weber Rd., police said.

March 31

Criminal trespass and battery

Patrick Proczek, 28, of the 5000 block of West 64thPlace in Chicago, was charged with retail theft at Meijer at 225 N. Weber Rd., police said.

Graffiti

Officers responded to the 1800 block of Apple Valley Drive for the report of criminal trespass to property. Graffiti was spray-painted on the sidewalk and basketball court, police said.

Obstructing justice

Frank Zuno, 20, of the 400 block of Devonshire Court, and three 16-year-old juveniles all were charged with obstructing justice following a traffic stop on the 100 block of Jamestown Drive, police said.

Mob action

Two 17-year-old juveniles and Jose Garcia-Hernandez, 21, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, were all charged with mob action at a building on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive.
