Thursday, Nov. 1
1. Residential burglary
Police were called to the 600 block of Preston Drive for the report of a residential burglary. The front door was forced open and a laptop and TV were taken between 7 a.m. and 1:19 p.m. Loss valued at $2,600.

2. Gun stolen from home
Police were called to the 1000 block of Chelsea Lane for the report of a residential burglary. A handgun was taken from a safe in the bedroom between March 1 and Dec. 1. Loss valued at $420.

Wednesday, Nov. 30
3. Retail theft
Laurie Daughter, 41, of the 23000 block of West 135th Street in Plainfield, was charged with retail theft in Meijer, located at 225 N. Weber Rd. at 1:49 p.m.
4. Resisting a peace officer
Tyreana Austin, 20, of the 500 block of Alcott Lane, was charged with resisting a peace officer, no insurance and an equipment violation following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Lane and Raider Way at 4:57 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 29
5. Resisting a peace officer
Rogelio Ugarte, 39, of the 200 block of Monterey Drive, was charged with resisting a peace officer following a traffic stop on the 700 block of North Bolingbrook Drive at 4:06 p.m.
6. Criminal trespass to property
Police were called to a home on the 400 block of Mallview Lane for the report of criminal trespass to property. The front door was kicked in between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Nothing appeared to be taken.
