Police Blotter: Man Caught With Drug Paraphernalia

Thursday, Oct. 6

1. Warrant

Jose Tovar, 44, of the 400 block of Mallview Lane, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, an in-state warrant and a moving equipment violation following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 53 and Rockhurst Road at 2:30 a.m.

2. Car burglary

A cell phone and a pack of cigarettes were taken from an unlocked car parked on the 500 block of West North Frontage Road at 2:50 a.m.

3. Possession of drug paraphernalia

Luis Quesada, 22, of the 9900 block of Montana Avenue in Franklin Park, was charged with disobeying a stop sign, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at the intersection of South West Frontage Road and Gateway Road at 2:39 p.m.

4. Warrant

Bruce Pickett, 26, of the 600 block of Chesapeake Lane, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic sop at the intersection of Route 53 and I-55 at 5:17 p.m.
