Man Threatens Pharmacist with Syringe, Police Say

Bolingbrook man with supposedly poison syringe allegedly threatened Walgreens pharmacist to cough up drugs.

A Bolingbrook man who threatened a Walgreens pharmacist with what he claimed was a poison-filled syringe made off with bags of Oxycodone, morphine and Hydrocodone earlier this month.

Police, however, found Terry Cornwell, 41, of 261 Edgehill Dr., and arrested him after he left the Walgreens at 680 E. Boughton Rd. Cornwell was charged with felony armed robbery and possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance on Sept. 1.

Police said the syringe was filled with water.

Cornwell is in the Will County jail on $15,000 bail.
