Thursday, March 31

Obstructing justice

Noah Mohammad , 21, of the 8000 block of Captions Lane in Darien, was charged with obstructing justice following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and Delaware Drive, police said.

Wednesday, March 30

Mob action

Two juveniles and Jose Garcia-Hernandez, 21, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, were all charged with mob action after police said they were involved in a fight at the intersection of Woodcreek Drive and Lily Cache Lane.

Criminal damage to property

A vandal punched a glass door causing it to shatter at the Meijer at 755 E. Boughton Rd., police said.

Tuesday, March 29

Warrant

Bernie Rybarczyk, 26, of the 100 block of Larchmont Way, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 200 block of Veterans Parkway, police said.

Residential burglary

A burglar took a 42-inch TV, clothing, gym shoes and boots from a home on the 500 block of Thomas Road, police said. A couch and dining room table were also damaged with a knife. Loss and damage were valued at $3,398.

Graffiti

Graffiti was found on the rear of the a building on the 200 block of Recreation Drive, police said.

MARCH 28

Stolen purse and cell phone

A purse and cell phone were taken from a shopping cart at Food 4 Less. The cell phone was later returned, police said.

Residential burglary

A burglar kicked in a garage door and took an Xbox game system, clothing, video games and jewelry from a home on the 900 block of West Briarcliff Road, police said. Loss is valued at $2,900, police said.

March 27

DUI

Tawana Wright, 29, of the 700 block of Asbury Avenue in Glendale Heights, was charged with two counts of DUI, failure to signal and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop at the 400 block of North Bolingbrook Drive, police said.

Stolen water heater

A water heater was taken from a vacant home on the 100 block of Thackeray Drive, police said.

Stolen car

A 2009 gray Pontiac Vibe was taken from a driveway on the 500 block of Jordan Way, police said.

Stolen refrigerator

A refrigerator and stove were stolen from a home on the 1500 block of Suncrest Drive, police said. Loss is valued at $2,300, police said.

Domestic battery

Diane Handley, 42, of the 300 block of Harmony Circle, was charged with domestic battery, interfering with reporting and aggravated battery, police said.

Warrant

Terrell Clayborn-Nix, 25, of the 600 block of Pontiac Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant, police said.

Solicitor complaints

Anthony Moore, 41, of the first block of Penny Court, was charged with solicitor complaints following a call to the 400 block of Seneca Lane, for a suspicious person asking for money to get a relative out of jail, police said.

March 26

Stolen car

A 1990 white Prizm was taken from a driveway on the 500 block of Julie Road, police said.

A 2006 red Cobalt was taken from a driveway on the 100 block of Sandalwood Lane as the vehicle was warming up, police said.

Residential burglary

A fire-safe containing money, house deed, a life insurance policy, a ring and personal documents were taken from a secured residence on the 400 block of Galahad Circle, police said.

No insurance

Tasha Alexander, 36, of the 300 block of 300 block of North Pinto Avenue in Chicago, was charged with no valid driver’s license, no insurance and improper lane usage following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 53 and Northeast Frontage Road, police said.

Shots fired

Officers were called to the 600 block of Preston Drive for the report of possible gunshots. Two juveniles and Angelo Castillo, 18, of the 500 block of Falconridge Way, were charged with unlawful use of a weapon, police said.

March 25

Stolen car

A 1998 Trailmobile was taken from a business parking lot on the 100 block of Windham Parkway, police said.

Suspended license

Shanta Hammonds, 29, of the 400 block of Cumberland Drive, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no rear registration following a traffic stop at the intersection of Delaware Drive and Hywood Lane, police said.

Assault

Officers responded to the 100 block of Richmond Drive for the report of an assault. A witness said the suspect threw a bottle in the direction of the victim, police said.

Warrant

Anthony Contreras, 19, of the 300 block of Pacific Drive, was charged with a Will County warrant on the 300 block of Pacific Drive.

Retail theft

Police said thieves placed numerous items, including a 13-inch TV in a cart and left the CVS at 1725 W. Boughton Rd., and left without paying.

March 24

Stolen purse

A purse was taken from an unlocked car parked in the driveway of a home on the 400 block of Columbine Drive, police said.

Suspended license

Keith Pearson, 43, of the 100 block of Pilgrim Court, was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license and a motor vehicle violation, police said.

Aggravated domestic battery

Alex Holmes, 19, of the first block of Hywood, was charged with aggravated domestic battery, police said.

DUI

David Hubbert, 22, of the 2100 block of Riverside Drive in Plainfield, was charged with two counts of DUI, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop at the intersection of Weber Road and Lily Cache Lane.

Failure to signal

Samual Harrold, 59, of the 400 block of Degas Circle, was charged with failure to signal, police said.

Robbery

Officers responded to the 500 block of Preston Drive for the report of a robbery. According to police, a victim said they were approached by three unknown subjects who demanded money and marijuana, then took the victim to the ground, removing the victim’s shoes and backpack. The victim was released and the items were tossed the the ground before the subjects ran off.

Theft

A purse, which contained credit cards, a wedding ring and a cell phone, were taken from a shopping cart at Bolingbrook’s Big Lots, police said. Loss is valued at $3,300.

Stolen trailer

A Pace Tow trailer was taken from the driveway of a home on the 100 block of Thackeray Drive, police said. Loss is valued at $1,000.

Stolen car

A 1998 green Camry was left running in the driveway on the 200 block of Monroe Drive and was taken by an unknown subject, police said.

Retail theft

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with retail theft and obstructing a peace officer at Walmart, police said.

Two Wii game system controllers were taken from the Meijer at 225 N. Weber Rd., police said.
