Retail theft charged
Julia Kostelnicek, 34, 750 St. John’s Road., Woodstock, was charged with retail theft after taking numerous packages of medical test strips at 6:55 p.m. from Meijer 755 E. Boughton Road.

Vehicles vandalized
Officers were called to a business in the 200 block of West North Frontage Road for the report of a theft. Eleven catalytic converters were cut off of vehicles in the parking lot between Feb. 6 and Feb. 7, estimating $10,000 in damage.
