Police Blotter: Robber Reaches Through Drive-Thru to Grab Cash

1. Littering
Mark Ringswald, 35, of the first block of Sycamore Drive in Marseilles, was charged with littering, failure to signal and no driver’s license following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 53 and I-55 at 6:40 p.m.

2. Burglar reaches through drive-thru window to snag cash
Police were called to a business on the 300 block of South Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a burglary. A witness told police that an unknown subject reached through a drive through window and removed money from the cash register at 11:14 p.m. Loss valued at $700.

3. Residential burglary
Police were called to the 100 block of Pinecrest Road for the report of a robbery. A victim told police that the suspect entered the home and took miscellaneous jewelry between 9:15 a.m. and 9:55 a.m. Loss valued at $3,300.
4. Robbery
Police were called to the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a robbery. A victim told police that a suspect grabbed their wallet and took money and ran off at 8:55 p.m. Loss valued at $480.
5. DUI
Marciano Ambrocio, 53, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, was charged with improper lane usage, a seat belt violation, no valid driver’s license and DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of Creekide Drive and 107th Street at 10:23 p.m.
