Police Blotter: Seven Homes Broken Into in Two-Day Span

Bolingbrook police reports, Oct. 17-19.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

1. Domestic disturbance

Police were called to the 100 block of Williamsburg Lane for the report of a domestic disturbance. A subject threatened to kill themselves and their family. Weapons were located inside the house. The subject was eventually transported for mental evaluation at 9:29 p.m.

2. Retail theft

Kelli Campbell, 42, of the 1900 block of Stanford Avenue in Naperville, was charged with retail theft at Target, 1138 W. Boughton Rd., after shoplifting several clothing items at 1:35 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

3. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 600 block of Hughes Place for the report of a residential burglary. A homeowner told police they returned at 1 p.m. and found numerous watches, a passport, a tote bag, an iPod Touch and money taken between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. Loss valued at $1,100.

4. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 200 block of Butterview Drive for the report of a residential burglary. A homeowner told police they returned at 3:30 p.m. and discovered an Xbox game system, diamond ring, two iPod Nanos and a cell phone were taken between 9:23 a.m. and 3:40 p.m.

5. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 200 block of Algonquin Court for the report of a residential burglary. A homeowner told police they found the garage door partially open and a purse was missing from the kitchen between 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m.

6. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 600 block of West Briarcliff Road for the report of a residential burglary. A basement window was found to be knocked in and it was unknown what may have been taken. A home on the 800 block of West Briarcliff Road was also broken into. A wallet, watch, money and a camera battery were found missing.

7. DUI

Miguel Torres-Garcia, 36, of the 100 block of North Pinecrest Raod, was charged with no valid driver’s license, DUI, aggravated DUI, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop at the intersection of Lily Cache Lane and Creekside Drive at 2:08 a.m.

8. DUI

Jerry Colon, 25, of the 3100 block of West Fullerton Avenue in Chicago, was charged with DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and Brighton Drive at 1:34 a.m.

Monday, Oct. 17

9. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 100 block of Flagstaff Drive for the report of a residential burglary. A homeowner told police they found lights on in the residence and a rear sliding door open while they were on the lower level. A purse was found missing from the kitchen.

10. Theft

Police were called to the 1400 block of Envee Drive for the report of a theft. A suspect took a gold ring, pair of Gucci sunglasses and European money from a bedroom. Loss valued at $9,600.

11. Car burglary

Police responded to a business on the 100 block of East South Frontage Road for the report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. Three semi-trailers were broken into. CB radios were taken and gasoline was siphoned from each trailer. Loss valued at $1,400.

12. Battery

Terrez Washington, 29, of the 200 block of Diane Lane, was charged with a battery after creating a disturbance at 7-Eleven,  located at 398 S. Schmidt Rd., at 2:30 a.m.
