Police Blotter: Snow Blower, Chainsaw Snatched from Shed

Bolingbrook police reports, August 3-4.

Thursday, Aug. 4

1. Stolen tires

Police were called to the Firestone at 451 N. Bolingbrook Dr. for the report of a theft. A witness told police that two unknown subjects took four tires from a display and drove off at 5:40 p.m.

2. Home screen cut

A screen was cut on a residence on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive.

3. Retail theft

Police were called to Macy’s for the report of a retail theft. A witness told police that a subject entered the dressing room, placed clothing on under their own clothing and exited the store without paying. When approached by security, the person fled the area at 6:30 p.m. Loss valued at $50.

Wednesday, Aug. 3

4. DUI

Dennis Pendleton, 29, of the 400 block of North Wolf Road in Hillsdale, was charged with no valid registration, driving on a suspended license and DUI following a traffic stop at the 400 block of Salem Square at 1:38 a.m.

5. Snow blower stolen

A snow blower and chainsaw were taken from a shed on the 500 block of East Briarcliff Road between July 13 and Aug. 3. Loss valued at $750.
