Wednesday, March 23
Warrant
Foday Yilah, 39, of the 300 block of Daffodil Drive in Romeoville, was charged with an in-state warrant and driving on a suspended license, police said.

Car theft
A window was broken on a car parked on the 300 block of Recreation Drive and a portable generator was taken, police said. Loss is valued at $1,500.

Stolen campaign signs
Four campaign signs were removed from yards on the 1800 block of Apple Valley Drive, police said. Loss is valued at $20.
Residential burglary
Police were called to the 500 block of Jordan Way for a report of residential burglary, police said. The homeowner said the rear door was damaged and a 48-inch TV, PS3, video games, iPod and a pair of gym shoes were taken, police said. Loss is valued at $3,100.
Stolen car
A 2004 gold Malibu was taken from the driveway on the 100 block of Norman Drive, police said.
Warrant
Derrick Flurney, 40, of the 200 block of Hudson Court, was charged with an in-state warrant, driving on a suspended license and failure to signal following a traffic stop on the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
March 21Stolen license plates
A set of license plates were taken off a car parked on the 100 block of Beaconridge Drive, police said.
Car damaged
Police responded to Lot V of Fernwood Drive for the report of criminal damage to a car. According to the report, the interior of the car was burned, a light was removed and a substance was poured into the gas tank.
March 20Resisting a peace officer
Peter Grignon, 18, of the 700 block of North Pinecrest Road, was charged with resisting a peace officer following a traffic stop at the intersection of Janes Avenue and 83rd Street.
Domestic battery after driving on sidewalk
Rufus Porter, 32, of the 600 block of Preston Drive, was charged with aggravated domestic battery, disobeying a traffic device, failure to yield and driving on a sidewalk following a traffic stop on the 1200 block of Breeze Way, police said.
Woman’s purse stolen at Walmart
Officers responded to Walmart for the report of a theft. According to the police report, the victim said a purse and iPod were taken from a shopping cart. Loss is valued at $225.
March 19Stolen propane tanks
Officers were called to a business on the 200 block of Marquette Drive for the report of a theft and found six propane tanks stolen from a locked storage cage.
Stolen car
A 1998 gold Villager was stolen on the 300 block of Drake Drive, police said. According to the report, the suspect stole the car after an argument.
Battery
Jerell Johnson, 20, of the first block of Marshall Court, was charged with battery after pushing and punching the victim in the mouth following a verbal argument in Lot M of Beaconridge Drive, police said.
Warrant
Richard Dean Jr., 20, of the 5000 block of West 147th Street in Cicero, was charged with two in-state warrants, police said.
March 18DUI
Zachary Florey, 31, of the 22000 block of County Line Road in Custer Park, was charged with DUI, no insurance and improper lane usage following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 53 and Lee Lane, police said.
Sandra Martinez, 23, of the 100 block of Edgehill Drive, was charged with DUI, speeding and other moving violations following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 53 and West South Frontage Road, police said.
Miguel Herrera, 22, of the 500 block of Greystone Lane, was charged with DUI and improper lane usage following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and Weber Road.
Firewood stolen from front yard
Police say suspects took 100 pieces of cut firewood was taken from the front yard of a home on the 600 block of Whitehall Way. Loss is valued at $90.
March 17Stolen purse
A purse was taken from a victim while shopping on the 200 block of Route 53, police said.
Damaged car
A car was damaged on the 200 block of Tiger Street, police said. According to the report, the owner said two tires were slashed and paint was poured on the back end of the car.
March 16Warrant
Michael Logan, 24, of the 400 block of Standish Court, was charged with an in-state warrant, police said.
Mariatu Bangura-Nettey, 38, of the 1000 block of Sage Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of West Briarcliff Road, police said.
Stolen copper wire
Officers responded to the 200 block of South Palmer Drive for the report of a theft and found that 200 feet of copper wire had been taken from the basement of the home, police said.
Retail theft
Eduardo Berrios, 24, of the 500 block of White Oak Road, was charged with retail theft at Walmart, police said.
