Residential burglary

A DVD player and a 32-inch Sony TV were taken from a home on the 500 block of Preston Drive.

Outstanding warrant

Amanda Zaha, 24, of the 4000 block of Hohman Avenue in Hammond, Ind., was charged with an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop on the 1500 block of Lang Drive, police said.

DUI

Ferlando Toomer, 44, of the 2000 block of South 11thAvenue, in Maywood, was charged with improper lane usage, no insurance and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 53 and Lily Cache Lane, police said.

Adrian Vera, 21, of the 100 block of Schmidt Road, was charged with driving on a suspended license, improper lane usage, no insurance and a DUI following a traffic stop on the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive, police said.

Saturday, Jan. 29

Outstanding warrant

Isaac Olguin, 33, of the first block of Dorchester Drive, was charged with an ounstanding warrant, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop at the intersection of Rockhurst Road and Malibu Drive, police reported.

DUI

Tristan Payton, 27, of the 1700 block of Arbor Lane, in Crest Hill, was charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and failure to signal following a traffic stop at Ashbury Drive and Boughton Road, according to police.

Theft

15 Coach purses and a fur coat were taken from a storage locker on the 600 block of East Boughton Road, police reported.

Battery

Serge Hakiza, 20, of the 24000 block of West Franklin Lane, in Plainfield, was charged with battery after police officers were called to the incident on the 900 block of West Briarcliff Road.

Friday, Jan. 28

Retail theft

Gisella Serrano, 35, of the 2100 block of Windsor Lake Drive, in Woodridge, was charged with retail theft at Macy’s, police said.

Thursday, Jan. 27

DUI

Chelsea Girot, 25, of the 100 block of West Bergera Road, in Braidwood, was charged with DUI, driving with one taillight and no insurance following a traffic stop at the intersection of Interstate 55 and Route 53, police reported.

Battery

Cory Potts, 32, of the 300 block of Ruth Circle, was charged with battery after officers responded to the incident on the 300 block of North Schmidt Road, police said.

Aggravated assault

Denisse Romero, 21, of the first block of Fernwood Drive, was charged with an outstanding warrant, aggravated assault, criminal trespass to property and battery, following a call to Lot P of Fernwood Drive, police said.

DUI

Sopheap Som, 30, of the 2100 block of Chadwick Lane, in Glendale Heights, was charged with speeding, no insurance, DUI, aggravated DUI and endangering the life of a child following a traffic stop at the intersection of 115th Street and Weber Road, police said.
