Police Blotter: Two Reports of Gunshots in One Night

Bolingbrook police reports, Nov. 21-23.

Wednesday, Nov. 23

1. Criminal damage to property

Police were called to a home on the 200 block of Fairwood Lane for the report of a criminal damage to property between Nov. 11 and Nov. 23.

2. Teen caught with burglary tools

A 17-year-old was charged with possession of burglary tools on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive at 11:50 a.m.

3. Stolen car

A black 2002 Toyota Corolla was taken from the parking lot on the 200 block of Old Chicago Drive between Nov. 16 and Nov. 23.

4. Gunshots reported

Police were called to the 300 block of Lily Cache Lane for the report of shots fired. A witness told police they heard five shots that sounded like gunfire at 11:20 p.m. A search of the area produced negative results.

5. Spare ties stolen

Several spare ties were taken from a car parked on the 400 block of North Bolingbrook drive between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23.

6. Warrants

David Boyett, 28, of the 100 block of Heron Circle, was charged with two in-state warrants following a traffic stop at the intersection of Blair Lane and Mayfield Drive at 2:23 p.m.

7. Warrant

Allen Warren, 23, of the 300 block of Hadleigh Road, was charged with an in-state warrant at 3:36 p.m.

8. Gunshots reported

Police were called to the area of Bonnie Brae Court for the report of a suspicious noise. Residents in the area said they heard gun shots fired in the area between 2:20 a.m. and 2:44 a.m. Police searched the area and were met with negative results.

Tuesday, Nov. 22

9. Violation of bail

Chad Conley, 27, of the 200 block of Falconridge Way, was charged with a violation of bail bond and orders of protection at 11:26 p.m.

10. Warrant

Lynette Lewis, 23, of the 200 block of Carol Lane, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 1000 block of Bothwell Lane at 7:03 p.m.

11. Retail theft

Kindra Garrabrant, 36, and Andrew Garrabrant, both of the 13000 block of South Rivercrest in Plainfield were both charged with retail theft at Meijer, located at 225 North Weber Road at 4:31 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 21

12. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 311 building of Woodcreek Drive for the report of an attempted residential burglary. A homeowner told police they discovered the front door damaged sometime between noon and 5 p.m. No entry was made.
