Police Blotter: Victim Punched in the Head Near High School

1. Warrant

Brian Rachen, 23, of the 800 block of Rebecca Lane, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 800 block of Veterans Parkway at 7:44 a.m.

2. Car burglary

Loose change, an air compressor, a pair of sunglasses were taken from several cars parked on the 200 block of Edgehill Drive between 8:25 a.m. and 4 p.m.

3. Robbery

Police were called to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital for the report of a robbery. The victim told police they were walking home along the 300 block of Raider Way when unknown subjects punched the victim in the face and body several times and took the victim’s cell phone at 2:30 p.m.
