Police Blotter: Victoria's Secret Hit With Retail Theft Twice in the Same Night, Rogaine and Prilosec Stolen From Meijer

DUI charged

Benito Lopez, 30, 124 Seabury Road, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:45 p.m. following a traffic stop at Arrowhead Lane and Route 53.

Rogaine, Prilosec stolen from Meijer

Several boxes of Rogaine and Prilosec, valued at $301, were stolen at 8:36 p.m. at , 755 E. Boughton Road. Reports state witness saw two suspects place the boxes in a shopping cart and exited the store.

Victoria’s Secret has two retail thefts in the same night

There were two incidences of retail theft from Victoria’s Secret, 641 E. Boughton Road, one at 7 p.m. and another at 8:30 p.m. Reports state the suspects in each incidence took numerous clothing items and ran from the store. The amount of the both thefts totaled $2,900.

Window broken, items stolen from home

An iPad and items of jewelry were stolen from a home between 6:40 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Bedford Drive. Reports state a rear window was broken out to gain access into the home.

Robberies reported

  • Officers responded at 10:26 p.m. to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive for the report of a robbery. Reports state two subjects approached the victim displaying a handgun and demanding money. They also punched the victim several times before fleeing the area.
  • Officers responded at 11:30 p.m. to the 400 block of North Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a robbery. Reports state the victim was approached by several suspects, punched and kicked numerous times. The suspects then took the victim’s coat, money and keys before fleeing the scene.
