Police: Bolingbrook Man Had Sex with 11-Year-Old Girl

A Bolingbrook man allegedly sexually assaulted a girl multiple times over two years starting when she was 11 years old., according to Bolingbrook police. Police were informed of the allegation in August. 

Francisco Chan, 37, of the 500 block of Monroe Road, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. He has been charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. 

The Bolingbrook Police Department's Raid, Entry and Containment Team (R.E.A.C.T.) obtained a warrant for Chan's home as a result of an ongoing investigation. The team forced entry through the front door of the home. Chan was taken into custody and "numerous items of evidence were seized."  

Chan was processed and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

The case remains under investigation.
