Bolingbrook man involved in two drunken hit and run car accidents.

A 27-year-old Bolingbrook man was arrested by police Oct. 9 after he allegedly got into two drunken car accidents, one of which forced a car onto the front lawn, police say.

Juan Pizano, 27, of the 300 block of Gehrig Circle, was charged with aggravated DUI, aggravated battery, no valid driver's license, DUI and resisting a peace officer in the incidents.

According to police, officers responded to Fernwood Drive at 10:18 p.m. for the report of a hit and run to a parked car. After arriving, police learned the offending car was a dark green Chevrolet Malibu, later learned to have belonged to Pizano, and were given part of the car's registration.

At that same time, another police officer at the rear of the office heard a loud crash come from the area of Canterbury Lane and Briarcliff Road. The officer drove to the area and saw Pizano's car involved in another hit and run and conducted a traffic stop.

As the officer conducted the stop, Pizano put the car in reverse and nearly struck the cop before driving off. Pizano, though, left his front bumper at the scene of the accident, which contained the car's license plate and registration information.

Bolingbrook Lieutenant Mike Rompa said it was alleged that Pizano got into a verbal altercation with the first set of victims in Fernwood. He then intentionally rammed the victim's car several times before speeding off and striking the parked car. Pizano then drove the northbound on Canterbury and struck the second set of victims, who were in their car at a stop sign.

Rompa said a short time after the incidents, police located Pizano's car in teh area of Territorial Drive and Veterans Parkway. Pizano refused to comply and was eventually taken into custody and transported to the Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.

Pizano was charged with aggravated DUI, aggravated battery, no valid drivers license, DUI and resisting.
