Police: DuPage County Most Wanted Man From Bolingbrook Arrested in Downers Grove

Nana Kwabena Nketiah was recognized by a Downers Grove police officer after he asked a cop to call him a taxi at a Dunkin Donuts.

Downers Grove Police recognized Nana Kwabena Nketiah, 60, of Bolingbrook from the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office most wanted list after the man asked an officer near Dunkin Donuts, 6310 Woodward Ave. to call a cab to take him home.

When the officer asked  Nketiah for identification, he allegedly presented another person’s ID, stating the picture was old.

Nketiah allegedly recited the address and birthdate on the identification when asked verbally for that information.

The officer asked Nketiah to wait inside the business while he verified he was still on the DuPage County Sheriff’s list.

Nketiah came out of the donut shop, approached the officer and was shown his picture on the website. Nketiah acknowledge the photo was his and was taken to the police station.

He was charged with one count of obstructing identification and transported to DuPage County Jail on the warrant.
