Police: Guns, Jewelry, Cash and More Stolen from Bolingbrook Homes
To $10,000 in cash to a suit of armor and washer and dryer, there have been at least eight residential burglaries from June 12-29, according to Bolingbrook police.
Some very interesting items have been stolen from Bolingbrook homes in the past few weeks.
Between June 12 and 29, have reported thefts from $10,000 in cash from a bedroom, a washer and dryer, a suit of armor and $4,600 in jewelry. Also stolen were a rifle and gun, along with paintings and laptops.
In six of the eight thefts, residents gave a span of multiple days in which the theft could have taken place.

iPad stolen from residence
An iPad was taken from the residence on the 100 block of Larchmont Way between 9 a.m. to 12:50 p.m., police said.
June 29
$600 stolen from bedroom
Someone stole $600 in cash from a bedroom on the 100 block of Concord Lane, said.
Washer, dryer, lawn mower, electric edger stolen
Someone stole a washer, dryer, lawn mower and an electric edger from a home in the 1400 block of Comanche Drive between June 26 and 29, police said. The loss was valued at $3,200.
June 25
Three laptops, jewelry and rifle stolen
Someone stolen three laptops, miscellaneous jewelry and a rifle between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Clifton Lane, police said. The homeowner found the front door of the home open.
June 22
$4,600 in jewelry stolen
A tennis bracelet, diamond ring, man’s wedding band and a gold necklace were taken from a residence on the 600 block of Londonberry Lane between June 20 and 22, police said. The loss was valued at $4,600.
June 16
$10,000 taken from bedroom
About $10,000 in cash was taken from a bedroom between June 8 and 16 in the 100 block of Grove Court, police said.
Suit of armor stolen from home
Several paintings, a gun, several pictures and a suit of armor were stolen from a home on the 500 block of Forest Way between June 3 and June 18, police said.
June 14
Diamond ring, cash stolen
Someone stolen a diamond ring and cash between June 7 and 14 on the 800 block of Aberdeen Court, according to police.
June 12
Watch, rings stolen from bedroom
A watch and two rings were taken from a bedroom on the 500 block of Kildeer Drive between June 8 and 12, police said. The loss was valued at $3,000.
