Man who Tried to Abduct Two Bolingbrook High School Students Arrested: Police

A 20-year-old Bolingbrook man who allegedly tried to abduct two Bolingbrook High School students was arrested Tuesday, according to Bolingbrook police.

A man who allegedly tried to abduct two Bolingbrook High School students has been arrested, according to Bolingbrook police.

Kareem L. Green, 20, of 505 Preston Dr., was arrested Tuesday. He was positively identified by both victims and a key witness, police said. He was charged with attempted kidnapping, two counts of unlawful restraint, aggravated battery and battery.

The two attempted abductions were reported within three days.

On Jan. 29, a Bolingbrook High School student was walking home when a man attempted to grab her and pull her into his car. A bystander saw the struggle and yelled at the man, who then fled the area in his car. 

That offender was described as a black man wearing a tight shirt with short hair and a muscular build. The incident was reported at 10 a.m., according to Suburban Life

The incident took place near Radcliff Drive and Old Stone Road. The subject is driving a blue, late 1990's Ford Explorer. 

On Jan. 31, a 16-year-old girl said she was followed home from Bolingbrook High School into her apartment building in the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive. A man then grabbed her from behind as she entered the second floor of the building. The victim fought off her attacker and he fled west on foot toward neighboring Plimmer Park. 

The offender was described as a stocky, black man about 5'5" tall, wearing a red jacket. The incident was reported at 2:11 p.m.
