Police: Teen Robs Business

A 17-year-old allegedly demanded money, fought with an employee, stole cigarettes and left in a business car Aug. 22, according to Bolingbrook police.

A 17-year-old faces several charges following an incident Aug. 22. 

The teen allegedly entered a business in the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive at 8:47 a.m.

He or she then demanded money, fought with an employee, took a box of cigarettes and then left and drove off in a business vehicle.

The 17-year-old was arrested and charged with robbery, fleeing peace officers, motor vehicle theft, traffic sign violation, criminal trespass to vehicle, resisting a peace officer and no valid driver’s license.
