Police: Victim Transported to Hospital After Fight

Thefts from unlocked cars, battery and more from the Bolingbrook police blotter of July 13.

Victim transported to hospital after fight 

Officers were called to the 500 block of Norman Road for the report of a fight in progress at 4:18 a.m., said. The victim was transported to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital for injuries.

Gym bag, DVD stolen from unlocked car 

A gym bag and DVD were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 200 block of Northridge Avenue sometime overnight, police said.

Aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer, domestic battery

Darius Wells, 21, 227 Charleston Ave., was arrested at 10:28 a.m. and charged with aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer and domestic battery following a call to the 200 block of Dakota Court for a disturbance, police said. 

Bag of cosmetology equipment stolen from car

A bag of cosmetology equipment was stolen from a car parked on the 200 block of Pacific Drive between midnight and 4:15 a.m., police said. The loss was valued at $1,000. 

Battery, theft 

Esi Antobam, 64, of 353 Clifton Ln., was arrested at 2:51 a.m. and charged with battery and theft after a verbal argument concerning a purchase on the 200 block of Berkeley Drive, police said. 

Wallet, credit cards stolen from unlocked car

A wallet and credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 200 block Hadleigh Road between July 12 and 13, police said. 

Car window broken 

A car window was broken on the 200 block of Remington Boulevard and miscellaneous tools were taken between July 12 and 13, police said. 

Resisting a peace officer 

Dorian Redmond, 21, 1107 Illinois St., Ottawa, was arrested at 9:59 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer after a call to the 400 block of Devonshire Lane of a subject in the parking lot with a bat, police said. 

Wallet stolen from table 

A wallet was taken from a table on the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive at 2:14 p.m., police said. The loss was valued at $150. 

Aggravated discharge of firearm, unlawful use of weapon, no FOID card, unlawful possession of ammunition 

Guadalupe Galvin IV, 19, of 209 N. Lancaster Dr., was arrested at 8:24 p.m. and charged with aggravated discharge of firearm, unlawful use of weapon, no FOID card and unlawful possession of ammunition following a call of shots fired in Lot A of Beaconridge Drive, police said. 

Sugar poured into gas tank

Sugar was poured in the gas tank of a car parked on the 400 block of Columbine Lane between July 11 and 13, police said. 

Wallet stolen from pool area

A wallet was stolen from the pool area on the 200 block of S. Lindsey Lane between noon and 3:30 p.m., police said. The loss was valued at $100. 

Twelve catalytic converts cut from cars 

Twelve catalytic converts were cut from vehicles parked on the 200 block of W. North Frontage Road, police said. The loss was valued at $2,000.
