Rug-Shopper Injured by Falling Rug: Lawsuit
A woman suffered a torn rotator cuff when a rug—which may or may not have tied the room together—fell on her at the Bolingbrook Lowe's, according to a lawsuit.
A woman was injured when a rug fell on her at the Bolingbrook Lowe's, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.
The woman, Julie Frieders, was rug shopping in December 2012 when a Lowes employee "pulled a rug out causing another rug to fall" onto her, the lawsuit said.
Frieders "suffered severe injuries including a torn rotator cuff," the suit said.
