Semi-Truck, Car Stolen, DUI: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Arrests and incidents reported to the Bolingbrook Police Department on June 8 and 9.

June 9

DUI

Joseph Michaelsen, 50, 3871 Munson St., Plano, was arrested at 2:14 a.m. and charged with improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Janes Avenue, police said.

David Kelly, 49, 139 Seabury Rd., was arrested at 2:40 a.m. and charged with equipment violation, improper lane usage, no insurance and DUI, following a traffic stop at Ashbury Road and Balmoral Drive, police said.

Great Dane trailer stolen

Officers responded to the 500 block of E. South Frontage Road for the report of a theft, police said. A section of fencing was cut to gain entry. A 1988 Great Dane trailer was stolen between June 7 and 9.

June 8

DUI, reckless driving, hit and run

Susan Baedke, 51, 26323 W. Mapleview Dr., Plainfield, was arrested at 2:48 a.m. and charged with failure to notify damage, too fast for conditions, illegal parking, two counts of DUI, reckless driving and hit and run, at 119th Street and Naper-Plainfield Road, police said.

Theft

Officers were called to a business on the 300 block of Marmon Drive for the report of a theft, police said.  The loss was valued at $40.

Semi-truck, trailer stolen

Officers were called to the 500 block of E. South Frontage Road for the report of motor vehicle theft, police said. A 2004 Freightliner and trailer were stolen between 12:30 a,m. and 6:23 p.m.

Car stolen from parking lot

A 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada was stolen from a parking lot on the 600 block of Preston Drive between June 7 and 8, police said.
