Teen Arrested After Threatening Employees: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Mirror broken off parked car, stereo stolen from unlocked car and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of April 18-19.

April 19 

Theft from Meijer 

Bethany James, 24, 1357 Monomoy St., Aurora, was arrested at 2:38 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Meijer 755 E. Boughton Rd., police said.

Disorderly conduct 

Juan Retana, 19, 14410 Independence Dr., Plainfield, was arrested at 12:29 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct on the 1100 block of Remington Boulevard, police said, after he threatened employees.

Driving under the influence 

Khayree Lyles, 22, 22V Fernwood Dr., was arrested at 9:11 p.m. and charged with DUI following a traffic stop at Briarcliff Road and Canyon Drive, police said. 

Mirror broken off parked car 

Officers were called to a parking lot on the 1200 block of W. Boughton Road for the report of a criminal damage to property, police said. A mirror was broken off a parked car between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. 

April 18 

Stereo stolen from unlocked car 

Officers were called to the 1000 block of Lily Cache Lane for the report of a burglary to motor vehicle, police said. A flat screen stereo was removed from an unlocked car between 6 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. 

Theft from Kohl's 

Elba Roca, 45, 2209 Beachwood Dr., Joliet, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Kohl’s, 1138 W. Boughton Rd., police said. 

Theft from Meijer 

Vicky Britton, 38, 242 Kirkwood Dr., Aurora, was arrested at 4:31 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., police said. 

Resisting a peace officer 

Lamarr Burgin, 25 1083 Jennifer Ln., was arrested at 10:36 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer following a call to the residence for disorderly conduct, police said. 

April 9 

Driving under the influence, in-state warrant 

Eddie Soto, 22, 717 Echo Ln., Romeoville, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. and charged with an in-state warrant and Jasus Reza, 27, of 724 Farragut Ave. in Romeoville, was arrested and charged with no insurance, improper lane usage, improper turn at intersection and DUI following a traffic stop at Blair Lane and Schmidt Road, police said.
