Thefts from Home, Locked Car: Bolingbrook Police Blotter
Battery, residential burglary and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Feb. 1 and 2.
Feb. 2
Battery
Officers were called to the 300 block of Whitewater Drive for the report of a battery at midnight, police said. The victim said the suspect battered him or her following a verbal argument.

Driving under the influence
Eric Liebing, 33, 520 Glendale Ave., Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. and charged with DUI, improper lane usage, no valid driver’s license and no insurance following a traffic stop on the 100 block of N. Weber Road, police said.

In-state warrant
Jose Cabrera, 22, 239 Northridge Ave, was arrested at 2:11 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Drive and Remington Boulevard, police said.
Feb. 1
Scaffolds, ladders, drill and air compressor stolen
Officers were called to the 400 block of Rockhurst Road for the report of a theft, police said. Four scaffolds, four ladders, a hammer drill and an air compressor were stolen from a locked car between Jan. 4 and Feb. 1. Loss valued at $1,100.
Residential burglary
Officers responded to Vigilance Court for the report of a residential burglary, police said. Someone entered the residence between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Three men’s watches were stolen. The loss was valued at $770.
Speeding, in-state warrant
Agustin Francisco, 25, 249 Edgehill Dr., was arrested at 7:10 p.m. and charged with speeding, driving on a suspended license and an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Weber Road and Windham Parkway, police said.
Resisting a peace officer
Edgar Rada, 25, 168 N. Schmidt Rd., was arrested at 10:17 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance and no valid driver’s license following traffic stop on the 100 block of N. Schmidt Road, police said.
Trailer stolen from lot
A 2007 Wabash trailer was stolen from a lot on the 700 block of W. Crossroads Parkway between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m., police said.
In-state warrant
Carlos Cepeda-Cruz, 36, 141 N. Ashbury Ave., was arrested at 7:10 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at Weber Road and Windham Parkway, police said.
