Unidentified Male Found Dead in Pond: Bolingbrook Police

A landscaping crew spotted the body Tuesday morning in a pond on Woodcreek Drive.

Bolingbrook police investigators are working with the Will County Coroner's office to identify a person found dead in a retention pond Tuesday morning, police said.

According to police, a landscaping crew observed a body floating face down in a pond in the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive at around 10:52 a.m.

The body was that of a male who was determined to be deceased, Bolingbrook Lt. Mike Rompa said. 

Police contacted the Will County Coroner's office. According to Rompa, there was no identification on the body and the person's age has not yet been determined.

The incident remains under investigation, police said.
