Woman Hospitalized After Being Ejected from Car

The crash is still under investigation by the Bolingbrook Traffic Division.

An 18-year-old Bolingbrook woman remains hospitalized after being thrown from a car during a car crash on Bolingbrook’s west side Aug. 4.

According to police, Bolingbrook residents Zeeshan Mohammed, 23, and Kayla Riha, 18, were traveling eastbound on 115th Street just west of Remington Boulevard at 1:44 a.m. when the driver—police say they aren’t sure which one was driving—lost control of the car.

The car wound up on the southeast corner of Remington and 115th and both passengers were thrown from the car.

Mohammed has since been released from the hospital.

Police say alcohol does not appear to be a contributing factor.
