Women, 'Man Dressed as Woman' Sought in Victoria's Secret Lingerie Thefts

More than $2,600 worth of lingerie and clothing was reported stolen between Jan. 16 and Jan. 17, police said.

Police are reportedly seeking suspects in two recently lingerie thefts at the Victoria's Secret store in Bolingbrook's Promenade, 641 E. Boughton Rd.

The thefts happened within 24 hours of each other earlier this month, according to the Herald News. In the first incident, at around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 16, three black women in their late teens or early 20s reportedly entered the store and filled shopping bags with more than $1,100 worth of bras, panties and clothes. The three women allegedly fled without paying for the items, setting off the alarms, according to the report.

A day later, a woman about the same age came into the lingerie store with what police said appeared to be a "male dressed as a female." They left the store when they were greeted by an employee, but reportedly returned later and filled shopping bags with items before fleeing.

The two were seen getting into a gold Buick Century before making off with $1,469 worth of merchandise, police said.
