81st District Mayors Endorse Sandack for House Seat

Sandack is a Republican candidate for state representative of the 81st House District.

Several area mayors are throwing their support behind Ron Sandack for State Representative in the 81st House District.

The mayors who have opted to endorse him include Roger Claar of , Kathy Weaver of Darien, Joe Broda of Lisle, George Pradel of Naperville, William Rahn of Westmont, and William Murphy of Woodridge, according to a campaign press release.

“I endorse Ron Sandack for our community because he knows what it will take to help us get the state out of our current financial crisis,” Murphy said. “Ron supports creating a lean, financially prudent and transparent government.”

Sandack has sponsored legislation requiring fiscal notes to be placed on legislation so all citizens know how their hard earned tax dollars are being spent, according to the release.

“While serving as a mayor and state senator Ron has worked with our community to bring jobs to our area and put families back to work,” said Pradel. “He has worked to bring job friendly environment in Illinois and that needs to be our top priority. I am confident he will represent us well in Springfield.”

Also running for the 81st District Republican nomination is , who currently serves as the vice president of the  school board. 

Including parts of Downers Grove, Darien, Lisle, , Westmont and Naperville, the 81st district constitutes half of the previous 47th district. Patricia Bellock, who currently serves the 47th district, has decided not to run for the 81st, so there is no incumbent candidate.
