98th State Rep. Candidate Natalie Manley Meets with Grand Haven Residents

Manley is the Democratic candidate for the 98th district state representative seat.

Editor's note: The following is a press release from Friends of Natalie Manley.

Natalie Manley, 98th District State Representative Candidate, met with a crowd of Grand Haven residents in Romeoville on Monday at a private home for an informal “Meet & Greet.”

“Your State Representative should listen to the concerns and ideas of residents in the district in order to be most effective,” Manley said.

“I appreciated our discussions on the state budget and unfair, skyrocketing property taxes. I plan to use my experience in auditing, budgeting, and accounting to improve the state’s financial situation, creating a better environment for businesses and improving the economy. I also plan to support a law that will freeze property tax increases while home values are declining.”

Attendees shared ideas on state issues and signed up for campaign volunteering.

Kalnicky is the Democratic candidate for the 98th state representative seat. She faces Bob Kalnicky, the Republican candidate.

Manley was arrested and charged with domestic battery in May. Here's the story: http://patch.com/A-tglZ

Your story is from four months ago. When did she go to court? What were the results of the hearing? Was it dropped? Continuance? Can we get a folllow up story? Seems kinda important 40 days before the election, especially if the case was dropped.

I also see from the story that Kalnicky must be running unopposed. Based on the last line of the story he's the candidate on the Democratic and Republican ticket. How do you manage that?

Charges dropped. Innocent until proven guilty I believe is our standard. Natalie is the Dem running for State Rep in the 98th.

I plan on voting for Natalie Manley. She's got a strong financial background (a CPA). Skills necessary to help in the State's fiscal crisis. (No offense) Kalnicky's only asset is his political support from Claar and the regime.
