Alleged Child Pornographer Appears in Court
William Freund, 30, of Bolingbrook, is being charged with child pornography and predatory sexual assault for an incident in September.
The 30-year-old Bolingbrook man, who has been sitting in jail for nearly a month after police said he sent a text message photo of himself engaging in sexual conduct with an 8-year-old girl to the girl's mother, appeared in a Will County court room Tuesday for his arraignment.

Police said the mother and child used to live with Freund. Officials believe the mother and Freund had been in a prior relationship.

According to one report, prosecutors said they found more than 130 naked photos of the victim and videos of the girl performing sex acts.
They also reportedly found sealed plastic bags containing girls’ underwear, the report said.

Freuend will appear in court again on Nov. 14 for a pretrial hearing.
