As a second term candidate, I believe it is important to serve the community. I take the responsibility of being a dedicated public servant seriously. I apply common sense principles in my decision-making, and work diligently and cooperatively with my colleagues to find common ground that serves the best interests of all residents. I believe in consensus and working together to implement policies and programs which will benefit all the residents. I want to continue my work and ensure that Bolingbrook continues to be the best place to live, learn and have fun.

What's your favorite thing about the Bolingbrook Park District?

The number of parks available throughout town; the number of affordable programs available for all age groups; and the sense of “family” the Lifestyles Fitness Center provides.

What is the biggest challenge facing the Bolingbrook Park District and how would you work to address it?

I am concerned with the park district’s long-term financial situation as well as the ability to balance services against the resident’s capability to continue to pay.
