• Family: Husband - Sean McCloud, 39; Daughter - Samantha McCloud, 4
• Education (degree and school): Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in public and environmental affairs from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana
• Occupation: After working 11 years in the field of software and technical support, I chose to become a stay-at-home Mom and have been doing that for the last few years.

Candidate questions

Why are you running for this office? 

The main reason I am running for this position is because my family is heavily involved in park activities. Someone is participating in a park program 6-7 days a week. The park is something my family loves and I believe I have a vested personal interest in helping it succeed. This is a service we use!

What sets you apart from the other candidates? 

As a parent of a currently young child I can relate to the interests and needs of children today, as well as their families.

How long have you lived in your community and/or been active in local issues?

We have lived in Bolingbrook since early 2007.

What's your favorite thing about the Bolingbrook Park District?

Wide variety of programs and activities!
