As you can see in the chart, Valley View had the highest increase in property tax rate from 2011 to 2012 of nearby districts, and the highest actual tax. 

Oswego School District 308 has the highest tax rate in Will County. Valley View was third, following Crete-Monee School District 201-U. Actual tax is based again on a home assessed to a value of $256,800.
