Library Announces New Bookmobile Stops

Bookmobile to visit more schools and community places, library officials say.

The bookmobile schedule will feature four new stops and include the first and third Saturdays of the month in the rotation as well, library officials said.

Marianne Thompson, the library's outreach services manager, said the new schedule begins Sept. 6 and will include new stops at elementary schools and some churches.

Thompson said new stops include on Sept. 12 from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p .m.; the after-school program at on Sept. 14 from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and McKenzie Falls on Sept. 28 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The bookmobile will also hold puppet shows on Sept. 30 at the (10 a.m.), the (1 p.m.) and Beaconridge (3:30 p.m.).

Thompson said the puppet shows, which the library introduced this summer, will last about 30 minutes each and be presented by library staff.
