Park, Library Board Set to Meet Tonight

Both meetings are open to the public.

The governing boards of the Bolingbrook Park District and Fountaindale Public Library both meet tonight.

Both meetings are free and open to the public. 

The library's board of trustees will meet at 7 p.m. in the library's board room, located on the second floor of the new Fountaindale Public Library. For agenda information, click HERE.

 Ruth Newell, Robert Kalnicky, Steven Prodehl and Thomas Gillligan are expected to be sworn in and the board will vote on reorganizing. 

Gilligan and Prodehl both won four-year seats after facing minimal competition. Kalnicky and Newell claimed the two uncontested six-year seats.

Board members are also expected to hear a . Such reports have become commonplace for the board since construction began.

The and crews are now in the process of finishing the demolition of the old library, which will become the site of extra parking.
