Plan Commission to Vote on Chick-fil-A Development

Proposed Chick-fil-A one step closer to final village board approval and would be built near the intersection of Weber Road and Boughton Road.

The village's plan commission will vote tonight on a measure that could bring first Chick-fil-A restaurant one step closer to a reality.

If approved, the plan report would go in front of the village board for final approval—likely during the board's Sept. 27 meeting. The commission's nod is likely a formality at this point.

The commission meets at 8 p.m. tonight in the village board room. It's also set to hold a public hearing for an amendment to a special use permit for a planned residential development with variances to River Hills Subdivision by K. Hovanian Homes.
