Second Village Budget Workshop Canceled
The village was supposed to hold three budget workshops to seek the public's input on the 2011-12 budget. The second of those was canceled.
Apparently, Bolingbrook officials heard all they needed to hear about the public's concern over the upcoming village budget last weekend.
According to the village's community calendar, the second of three public budget workshops—originally scheduled for Saturday at 8 a.m.—has been canceled.
The third meeting, set for April 16 at 8 a.m., is still on. That meeting, if not canceled, will take place in the village board room.

Last year, village officials canceled the final two of three budget workshops, saying not enough residents turned out to the first one.
