Village Cancels Tonight's Board Meeting

Bolingbrook officials have canceled tonight's regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting, according to village documents.

A public notice from the village clerk's office said only three items had requested action, none of which were time sensitive.

The board will meet next at its regularly scheduled meeting on April 12, one week after the April 5 election.

The board typically sees downtime this time of year before initializing budget talks in late March or early April. Last week, the village , where residents are invited to come and give input into the budget process.

Those dates are set for April 2, April 9 and April 16. Each of the meetings is set to begin at 8 a.m.
