Will County Candidates File for March Primary

Three Bolingbrook residents were among early birds who filed their petitions Monday morning for the March 20, 2012 primary.

A approved by the existing board in June divides Will County into 13 two-member districts and shifts most of into a new District 4, with a small portion of the village in a new District 13.

Filing began at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, and ends at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5. Candidates who filed first thing Monday will be included in a simultaneous filing lottery on Dec. 7 to determine their positions on the ballot. 

The following candidates have filed so far. An "L" before a candidate's name indicates that petitions were filed at 8:30 a.m. Monday. Incumbent candidates are indicated with an asterisk. Check back for updates on additional filings as the Dec. 5 deadline approaches.
