Will County Clerk: No Election in November
Nancy Schultz Voots' office issued a notice hoping to head off any election-related confusion.
County Clerk Nancy Schultz Voots wants to make on thing clear: There is no election next month in Will County.
“Some calendars have listed November 5th as Election Day, and I want to make sure there is no confusion,” Voots said in a press release issued Tuesday. "I don't want voters to show up at their polling places and be inconvenienced."
The next election is the general primary election, set for March 18, 2014. The last day to register to vote for that election is Feb. 18, 2014.
