Bolingbrook Adventist Employees Donate Backpacks for Local Students

Hospital donates school supplies to needy kids for fifth year.

A group of Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital employees donated 73 school supply-filled backpacks for local children to take to school  this year.

The group collected and hand-delivered the goodies to Victory Cathedral Worship Center in Romeoville on Aug. 27. The supplies were then delivered to the Daybreak Center in Joliet. The center provides emergency housing and supportive services to the homeless.

This is the fifth year the hospital has donated the backpacks.
