Bolingbrook High School’s “Of Mice and Men” Advances to Sttate Finals
They'll compete next weekend in Springfield.
The cast and crew of Bolingbrook High School’s “Of Mice and Men” will compete in the IHSA Drama/Group Presentation state finals this weekend at the University of Illinois-Springfield thanks to strong performances in sectionals this past weekend.
“Of Mice and Men” finished second in the Drama competition at sectionals. All-Sectional cast medals were awarded to Davonte Sanders, Nick Jacobs, and Greg Ciullo. Other members of the cast include Brendan Furlong, Eric Page, and Gabriella Gallegos.
The contest play is directed by Mike Zigrossi and Donna Franks-Tapley, and the set was designed and constructed by Charles C. Palia Jr.

Six members of the BHS cast of ”Steel Magnolias,” which finished 7th at sectionals, were named to the All-Sectional Cast including Paula Freeman, Jazmyne Tyler, Samantha Cole, Bailey Jarvis- Taylor, Kayla Lottie and Dania Harris. Other members of the cast include Audrey Eshun, Jen Lucchesi, Marisa Vargas, Brandi Hardwick and Christy Parzyszek
