Bolingbrook Teacher Wins National Shout Out Contest

Jonas Salk Elementary School Principal Michele Romolt received enough votes to place her in the top 10 of educators in the country.

A Bolingbrook principal was one of 10 educators in the country to recently win the national Herff Jones Teacher Shout Out contest 

Jonas Salk Elementary School Principal Michele Romolt will receive $2,500 for herself and $2,500 for her school. The 10 finalists were decided on vote totals, depending on school size.

She stands up for what she believes in and does what is best for her students and staff. She goes above and beyond her job and leads by example, by coming in early, staying late, working weekends, and reaching out to families who need support.
