Brooks Dean Leaving to Become Assistant Principal at Jane Addams

Timothy Wyller, who has spent the last two years as dean of students at , will leave at the end of this month to become the assistant principal at .

Wyller's appointment was approved Monday night by the school board and will assume the position in July.

Wyller has worked within the district for nearly six years, beginning at Addams as a 6th and 7th grade history teacher before moving to Brooks to teach 6th grade history.

This summer, he will serve as the extended school year principal for the Early Childhood Center, a district release said.

Wyller will repalce Carmen Killingsworth, who will be the new principal at . 

Wyller is a graduate of the University of Illinois and holds a Master's Degree in educational leadership from Northern Illinois University.
