B.J. Ward Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night at B.J. Ward Elementary School in Bolingbrook will be Thursday, Sept. 23 from 6 to 7:55 p.m.

The evening begins with a "meet-and-greet" with Ward Principals welcoming attendees at 6 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.

At 6:10 p.m. everyone will have then pleasure of learning about the school's Positive Behavior Interventions and Support program after which parents of kindergarten, first and second graders will head to their student's classroom for a half hour conversation with their teachers. Third through fifth grade parents will remain in the gym for a presentation by Ward reading teachers.

The procedure will be reversed an hour later following a 7:10 p.m. PBIS presentation. Grade K-2 parents will head to Room 137 for a presentation by reading teachers and parents of children in grades 3-5 will go to their child's classroom.

Attendees should enter the school through Door 13.

Raffles will be held. Popcorn and juice will be available.
