Pioneer Elementary School Parents to Enjoy Ice Cream and Learn About ISATS

A sweet time is being planned on Jan. 13 for Pioneer Elementary School parents who want to learn more about upcoming the Illinois Standards Achievement Test.

Ice cream will be served while attendees hear about, and discuss, the ISATs which are used to measure the school's and district's progress against state and federally set learning standards.

The evening of adult conversation, which begins at 6 p.m., will include information on Pioneer's expectations in reading as well as what students are currently working on, what the ISAT looks like, what kind of writing students must do, and what parents can do to help their students do well on the test.
