Fountaindale Public Library Hosts its First College Fair

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. No registration is required.

Fountaindale Public Library will host its first college fair on Saturday, October 27. The event is being held  from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and no registration is required.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with admission representatives from 11 different Illinois universities and colleges. The colleges attending the fair include: College of DuPage, Robert Morris University, Lewis University, Govenors State University, Judson University, University of St. Francis, Concordia University, Joliet Junior College, North Central College, Columbia College - Chicago, and  St. Xavier University.

Special sessions will also be offered to students and parents. The following presentations will be available: Services for Non-Traditional Students, What it Means to be College Ready, Job Searching, Finding the Right College Fit, Making Sense of Financial Aid, and the FAFSA. Presentations are drop-in with limited seating.
