Valley View School District 365U Superintendent Dr. James Mitchem returned to classroom teaching for the first time in quite a while Wednesday.

The lesson plan called for a little bit of recess, with some tag and some general fun on the new playground equipment at King, followed by a lesson on lungs including a hands-on lung capacity experiment.

Mrs. Greenwood was the beneficiary of Dr. Mitchem’s hour-long visit courtesy of a drawing in August at Teacher Institute Day.
